On 'doing you'

I think it's fair to say, let alone completely obvious that at at least one point in our life we all are conscious of what our own self will provoke in the thoughts of others.
In the moments of uncertainty, regarding what clothes to wear, what music to listen to, or even the type of food we eat, it appears a totally natural response to choice, to immediately wonder "what will they think?".
Yet if we take just a single moment to actually understand this concept of 'doing yourself for others', does it not seem 100% ridiculous? The fact that so many of us have to consider how OTHERS may feel when we decide what clothes to wear, allows for this attitude to become contagious. The way we think and perform is emanated from within and makes it appear acceptable for strangers to judge a person for their lifestyle choices.
Of course this is within reason, I'm not suggesting its inappropriate to deduce negative connotations from illegal or offensive actions, I'm merely talking in light of individuals doing what they want (and need) to feel good and comfortable as who they are.
There is no simpler way of saying, just 'do you' - do what you want, wear what you want, eat what you want and don't give two fucks about what anybody else is saying or thinking about it.

First Blog Post dun dun dun...

Hey everyone, I thought my first post would be just me explaining what kind of things I'd be posting on here. To begin with I was thinking along the lines of a fashion type blog but I then realised that would limit me to all kinds of different topics I would like to post about. So I decided on a 'anything goes' kind of blog!. I hope you all enjoy :D

Thank you!
